Designer-Front End Web Developer

Scan, Inc. has an opening for a designer. Put your design skills to use across platforms (web and mobile) with particular focus on front end design and web development. Create original designs from scratch in a collaborative environment. Your experience counts. Talent will count more.
We're looking for:
- Strong portfolio (include links) with examples of designs you've created from beginning to end
- Strong, creative problem solving abilities
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate on projects, take creative direction, and carry projects on your own from beginning to end
- Strong sense of typography and color
- Rock star creative skills with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Ninja tech skills with JavaScript, HTML and CSS

iOS Developer

Scan is looking for talented, motivated iOS developers with the following qualifications:
- 2+ years experience developing apps in Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
- Proficiency in writing efficient code that follows good design patterns (MVC, delegation, etc)
- Experience with Core Data, asynchronous network requests, and multithreading
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and JSON (de)serialization
- Strong sense of visual and interaction design
- Familiarity with Apple's iOS Human Interface Guidelines
- Comfortable on the command line (Linux, BSD, or any other POSIX/Unix-like OS)
- Experience using revision control software (preferably git)

- Writing code in a fast-paced and fun environment
- Being proactive and resourceful in finding and implementing solutions to a variety of problems
